Irena graduated from the Prague Conservatory.  She continued her studies at the Faculty of Education in the Charles University in Prague. She is an successful interpreter and belongs to the founders of chamber Konvergence, focusing on contemporary music. During her long concert career, she participated on many projects (above all with Czech Radio).  As a chamber member, she took part at significant festivals (e.g. Prague Spring, ENH Brno, Unerhote Musik Berlin, Mélos-Étos Bratislava and many others).  She is a great teacher with over 20 years of experience and teaches children and adults of all levels.  She has been with ISMFA since 2010.
