Jan is a graduate of the University of Kentucky (USA), Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He is a great violin and viola player, he also focuses on conducting and chamber music. He worked with many prestigious orchestras (Czech National Symphony, Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic, Berlin Newklassiker Symphony, Vienna Royal Orchestra). He is an excellent and sought-after teacher with many years of teaching experience. Jan has been working at ISMFA since 2022.
