Alena is a graduate of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. She is a member of several ensembles focused on both jazz and classical music (Alena Veretina Trio, Duo flute, piano), plays in orchestras and musicals. She specializes in teaching young children, as well as adults, combining classical methodologies with elements of improvisation and modern styles in her teaching. She is a sought-after teacher with more than ten years of teaching experience. She has been working at ISMFA since 2011.
