Monika i a graduate of the Hochschule für Musik in München, Royal Conservatory in Den Haag, Dresdner Akademie für alte Musika, The Prague Academy of Perfoming Arts. She is a laureate of numerous national and international competitions (16. grosser Förderpreiswettbewerb in München 2003 (3rd prize), Bohuslav Martinu Prix 2003, Davidoff Prix 2002, Oberösterreichischer-Solistenwettbewerb 2001, Mezinárodní interpretační soutěž Pražského jara 1999 (3rd prize)and others). She is an excellent teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. She has been at ISMFA since 2007.
