Filip is a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Hochschule Luzern (Switzerland), and Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Switzerland). He completed his solo studies in Zurich under the guidance of the legendary piano virtuoso Konstantin Scherbakov. Filip is a laureate of several competitions, including the Landolt Wettbewerb (1st prize), the Smetana International Piano Competition, and the International Schubert Competition. He has taught piano at music schools in both the Czech Republic and Switzerland and has been active as a teacher since 2010. He works with children and students of all age categories. He has been teaching piano at ISMFA since 2018.
