\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIndividual study plan for ISMFA students<\/strong>\u00a0is suitable for children and students, who wish to\u00a0progress their own pace<\/strong>.\u00a0This plan is compiled with regards to abilities and focus of the child\/student<\/strong>\u00a0and it is not obligatory to do the exam at the end of the academic year. Students can combine\u00a0different genres<\/strong>\u00a0(classical music, popular, jazz, rock)\u00a0and are encouraged to perform at the school concerts<\/strong>\u00a0(classical concerts, jazz rock concerts and even concerts accompanied by professional musicians).\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

International Curricula (ABRSM, LCM, Trinity College)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe International School of Music and Fine Arts Prague (ISMFA)<\/strong>\u00a0offers the possibility to prepare their students according to the international curricula of\u00a0The Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM), London College of Music (LCM) or Trinity College (TC)<\/strong>. Each grade of this curricula is concluded by internationally acknowledged certificate based on which students receive\u00a0internationally acknowledged certificate<\/strong>. International exams are organized in the partnership with the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, London College of Music and Trinity College (UK). The exams consist of a\u00a0preparatory grade and related 8 other Grades (1 \u2013 8), each designed for specific level<\/strong>\u00a0(Grade 1 is achievable for a child\/student of any age as well as for adults and so are all the upper grades). It is possible to start with the preparatory grade as early as the age of 6, but it is also possible to start with higher grade corresponding with the student\u00b4s level any time later.\u00a0Following this international curriculum offers some great advantages. The thoroughly prepared and sophisticated curriculum<\/strong>\u00a0is focused on a versatile development of the technical skills as well as the practical knowledge. Apart from an\u00a0interesting and attractive obligatory repertoire<\/strong>\u00a0(variety of styles and \u00e9poques including jazz and rock), students also score in\u00a0sight-reading, aural test and improvisation<\/strong>. When taking the musical part of\u00a0IGCSE or IB<\/strong>\u00a0at secondary schools, obtaining at least Grade 4 in ABRSM is\u00a0an advantage<\/strong>. Moreover, submitting the certificates (students receive these after a successful passing of the exam)\u00a0gives extra credits<\/strong>\u00a0when applying for some\u00a0Anglo-American universities<\/strong>\u00a0– Grade 3 as minimum for non-musical majors and Grade 5 as minimum for musical majors (at some universities it is a must).\u00a0ISMFA has a team of specially trained staff<\/strong>\u00a0to prepare you for this type of exams.
