MAKE UP LESSONS

1. INDIVIDUAL LESSONS HELD AT HOME

It is the duty of the student/parent to give a cancellation notice at least 1 day before the lesson (by phone only) directly to the teacher. In this case, lesson can take place another day and time. If the student gives a notice within less than 24 hours before the lesson, such lesson will be considered as taught and ISMFA teacher is not obliged to offer another day and time.

If the lesson cannot take place due to school holiday or bank holiday, lesson will be made up another day and time.
In case of long term indisposition (3 weeks and more), the absences are solved individually and in agreement between ISMFA and the studentor or according to the Contract.

Making up for cancelled lessons:
ISMFA will help to provide another day and time to make up for the lesson, in cooperation with the student and the teacher. Because our teachers reserve time for an adequate number of lessons and that regularity of the lessons is a condition for success, missed or canceled lessons are not transfered from one semester to another. They can be made up during the current semester only.

Parents/students can choose from the following options:
1) Lesson can be made up via a concert perfomance
2) The teacher offers two(2) possible days and times (including weekends, if there is no time to make up during the school days)
3) If possible, teacher may prolong some of the upcoming lessons (for example 3 up-coming lessons can be prolonged by extra 15 minutes)
4) The teacher can offer an online lesson
5) The teacher can offer a substituted lesson with another ISMFA teacher
If none of the option is accepted by the student, such lesson will be charged as taught.
